Eggs, Bibles, and doctors don’t need marketing.

They are needed, sought out, bought, and shared either way.

Why is there so much marketing, then?

Because the things in need of marketing are non-essential.

Because most things in this world are non-essential.

When there is an acute need, one searches for and finds the cure.

When there is no need, one resorts to endless wants and could-haves.

When there is a real cure, the healed ones spread the word.

When there is no cure, marketers market.

Marketing is the biggest distraction.

It sells one his “want”, thus distancing him from his “need”.

One drowns in wants and never realizes his needs.
